This award is testament to their commitment and the commitment of the players and parents who fully support the programme and pathways.”

Nicole’s daughter Chloe won Young Sports Performer of the Year. Nicole said: “It’s brilliant that Chloe has been recognised for her efforts outside of the judo world, she works hard to balance her school work with her demanding training and competition commitments.”

There was a whole host of guests in attendance including East Herts Council's Chairman Cllr Patricia Moore who said, “Participation in sport is fundamental to the development of young people and the skills learnt contribute to their holistic development which will benefit them throughout their lives. The Community Sports Awards is a fantastic opportunity to recognise local talent as well as the dedication of people who help to ensure there is an abundance of sporting opportunities across East Herts.”
